Now, let’s talk about why these games are still dominating sales charts even years after release.
Mario Kart continues to be a top seller and shows no sign of stopping! This game has been edging the charts for a number of years and for very good reasons as well. It is a fun game that may be played with family members, during racing with friends, or even in competitions over the internet. Nintendo also makes the game interesting by releasing updates and DLCs that will keep the fans playing.
For the real, Animal Crossing: New Horizons came into its own during the pandemic and has not stopped selling since. There is a positive reception to the game due to the game’s ‘chill’, customizable elements, and multiplayer functionality. To this date, this game is still popular among gamers who are interested in living a quiet life in a video game by 2025.
Ultimate is not just an ordinary name given to this game; it is the ultimate experience that this game offers. Boasting over 70 characters and countless feats from them, not to mention a strong competitive presence for the game, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is one of the greatest delights of owning a Nintendo Switch.
Some of the games in this list are no-brainers, and of course, both Breaths of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are present in the list. BOTW reconfigured the open-world experience, and Tears of the Kingdom built upon that experience to make it all the more delightful.
This company understands its target market, and that’s why games such as Super Mario Odyssey, Super Mario Party, and Pokémon games remain popular till this date. This is the fun, the excitement, or the gameplay, or the multiplayer factor which has put these franchises into a league of their own.
Nintendo has been a master of keeping the Switch relevant even years after its launch. Some key reasons:
Nintendo Switch is a versatile gaming console that lets you play anytime, anywhere—dock it for TV gaming or go handheld for on-the-go fun!
Nintendo’s 2025 sales prove the dominance of its first-party games. The deluxe version of Mario Kart remains a top seller, Zelda games are timeless classics, and Pokémon continues to thrive. If you have not played any of these yet it is high time that you got yourself in the game.
